A Painting We Will Go

In the seemingly ceaseless process of covering old cracked and dirty walls with new paint, I offer these views of a newly embarrassed (by which I mean reddened) third floor hallway. Rob did a masterful job of coping with the very high ceilng and the treacherous spaces over the railing and across the stairs. Note the picture of his ingenious yet rather frightening ladder positioning.

The second floor awaits a similar embarrassing experience, but will have to be scheduled at some point when Emily, the dainty recovering walker, won't be inconvenienced by all the painting craziness as she ambles (okay, lurches) to and  from the den to her bedroom and so on. So for now the extensive three floors of hallway is (are?) painted oreo-like, with the colorful bits at top and bottom and the creamy white stuff still in the middle.

The color is indeed strong, but we likes it, yes, we does.
